Welcome to the State Education Resource Center’s website for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in Connecticut.

Since 2000, SERC has been providing training and technical assistance to schools and districts in School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS). Questions, suggestions, or comments about the website should be directed to Sarah-Anne Nicholas at nicholas@ctserc.org.

Quick Tips!

Teaching behavior and reviewing data are integral pieces of a PBIS system. Use your school’s SWIS data to focus lesson plans on areas that are more problematic. Create lesson plans that include role plays and an opportunity to practice behavior in the natural setting.
